An open letter to a blue man.

As a part of this universe, I have the divine right to ask/ demand/ clarify (for) a few things and you, have the glorified part of answering them (or atleast justifying your actions) or not (In which case, you may lose my vote of confidence).
How is it that you, being something so vague, have the power to draw millions when I, something so tangible have the power to draw none?
Why don't most people question YOUR intentions and what has made them believe that all that you do, is for the betterment of man?
Why are you blue in colour?
Why do you bless only a few with everything and the rest with a few remnants of a few things?
Why do some people strive all their lives to get ONE thing done their way while some others get it laid on a platter?
Why does Karma apply only to some situations and is there a way to beat it? Because HEY, there is someone who really needs a punch.
Do you really think that I would be convinced of your existence in a pandal where middle aged women taunt me to shed of their personal frustration?
Did you think I was that naive as to hold no grudges against you after all these un-eventful years?
What happens to people like me?
Do you ever take time out to bless us with some luck?
Is there really a secret? Or is it just another one of your contrived plans for humanity?
And lastly, when does the world start to give back? When does everything fall into place for me, when people everywhere have their lives all spaced out? When does ANYTHING happen my way, and I don't have to compromise with myself and brainwash myself with the benefits of choosing the second best option?
When does my life become as happy and as beautiful as I imagine it to be?

I know this sounds stern and even, manipulative to an extent. But I need anwers. Solid answers. You should know that I hardly think of your existence anymore, even in times of crisis. Infact your presence has been reduced to being that of the blue man with a set of arrows in his backpack and a monkey worshipping him. There is a woman to his left and another man to his right.

My room-mate believes in you and has a poster of you on her cupboard. It scares me to look you in the eye. But she seems happy and content, which is why I have given you one more chance to prove to me you aren't a poet's imagination but infact real.
If you call yourself God, give me a reason to call you so.
Until then, blue man with arrows, you affect me not.

Btw, Happiness neednt depend on acquistions or achievements! Y cant it just b defined as a quiet comtemplative contentment with whatever u have?

Hey there very well-written..you've posed some real tough questions..

Being an atheist for most of my life, had a really life-altering experience once and that made me believe in the existence of a higher power..

i really think, there is somebody up there looking over us..you just need to keep the faith and do your bit..and of course a deep sense of gratitude with whatever you have..

To God eh?Well, seeing as you don't like to call him God :)
I don't know if you've seen the film Fight Club, but in it,Edward Norton finally realises that Brad Pitt was just a figment of his imagination,to make things seem right. That's how,I guess, the man in blue was born.Unfortunately or fortunately, that figment became famous and revered :P
I'm not gonna post the usual jargon about "you've been given so much that others havent" cus I know there'll be others to do that. But I will say this-today's just one day, tomorrow awaits.Maybe it'll be better, maybe worse. But people hope for the better, and it;s that hope that came to be given the figure of the arrow and bow toting blue man you question. You're not hopeless, are you AD?You've got admirers here, real admirers, people who value you,and would love to be around you(I'm one of them, don't worry,I ain't no stalker :P).Maybe one of these people will come and make your life easier to handle. You never know from where somebody comes and touches your life, right?
Your friend just sees the blue man as a sign of hope. You know what I see as hope?Just some old grandfather like figure with a soft voice, someone I'll be comfortable around.Hope never comes in platter. To the rich kids,it's not hope in a platter,it's a slice of life.If you want hope, you gotta make it.Your friend did just that, and I do just that.I always say that "Sab Upar Vaale Ke Paas Hai".Finished.It's not as easy as it sounds, but a few days later,I feel better :)
The rich kids may have life served on a platter, but they miss out on many things don't they?If you had your life on a platter, would you be writing all this?Would you be roaming B'lore, thinking about all that you see?Would we be able to read your writings?I know not. There could've been a million ways things would've turned out,but it turned out this way.Like the famous quote,"Of all the gin joints in this world, she walked into mine".The same way,out of all the things your life could've been, you've got this one.You get experience, you think things and draw pictures and write stuff that almost no one of your age group has dared to do!!You're a gem AD,your life has made you that, and sooner or later,a gem does get the value it deserves.Fear not AD,whether the blue man is there or not,you can make your own blue man.Maybe a red man,why not deviate from the crowd eh? Maybe tomorrow's good after all,you never know.Hope on,write on :D
Your humble fan,
Achyuth :D
